In 1989, Dmitry Bykhovsky, an engineer from Russia, with a race car experience and degree in automotive engineering opened his first luxury European car service, repair and restoration facility in Littleton, Mass. After successful growth, he then moved the business to Cambridge, Mass. After several successful years in Cambridge, Dmitry's business became known in the greater Boston area for its highly reputable and quality work. Seeking an opportunity to expand, Dmitry moved his business to its current location in Boxborough, MA. In 1999, Alpha Cars, luxury European car company was born.

Dmitry grew up in Moscow, Russia. He always had attraction to cars and motorcycles. URAL was always one of his favorite motorcycles because of it's heritage, vintage looks and simple engineering. Since he left former Soviet Union, here in US Dmitry always kept an eye on URAL presence. He was very pleased to learn that in 2005 factory implemented many important quality updates. This was one of the driving factors to become URAL dealer in Massachusetts. In addition, Irbit MotorWorks of America, Inc. (The official affiliate of the Irbit MotorWorks Factory in Irbit, Russia - maker of the URAL) proved itself since 2001 to be a responsible quality oriented company with great dealer and URAL owners support.

Andrey Belov and Tadevush  (Ted) Batsevich , both senior AlphaCars Technicians, were excited to become also a certified URAL specialists. Andrey has many years of experience working with complex late model European cars. In his early years he spent a lot of time working with and riding URAL motorcycles in Russia. Ted had over 25 years of hands on Ural service experience from Russia prior to becoming a Ural certified tech here in US.
