This great Saddlebag is made out of wet waxed UV-treated cotton canvas and leather panels that offer support and will age and show character over time. Available in Black Cordura to match the Ural cordura sidecar cover, or Dark Oak Brown that would enhance the vintage look in your Ural sidecar. Special mounting brackets designed specifically for the Ural sidecar are made from high quality powder coated stainless steel to handle the toughest of roads your Ural will take you. A durable metal and polyurethane reinforced internal frame helps the bag keep it's shapely figure even when empty. The roll-top closure and Snap/Velcro Road Shield system helps keep the elements out. The quick release pin-lock allows the bag to be removed easily to bring your belongings with you. Fits on either left or right side of the sidecar nose. Sold as a set per side. Love it! Very Versitile produt!
This product Rocks! I dont know for certain, but Ural of New England was the only place so far where I have seen this particular product. The mount is extremely versatile. It can be mounted on either side of the side car. I mounted mine on the left side "inside" side of the side car. Just make sure if you have a new steering damper you make sure to give clearance for it in full extension. Plenty of room for the mount and bad on either side of the side-car. This product is double awesome. If you every wish to swap out the "luggage style" saddle bags for a hard case such as an ammo box, its super simple to drill out the hard case and or ammo box and mount it to the existing mount/mounts. I used a small zip tie to feed throungh the holes found on the interior "nubs" of the bracket, just to ensure that the luggage holds strong when bumpy-off road, or any one to steal or make off with a a saddle bag. The strap that goes around the base of the mount is enough to keep it in place if it shakes loose It is not necessary to add a zip tie. The bags are strong and secure with or without adding a zip tie inside of the mount. The saddle bags are very heavy duty and hold up in the wind and bumpy conditions. The bonus for this product is, should any one wish too swap out the luggage style bags for a full hard case such as an ammo box/toolbox,weatherproof box, in muddy or super wet conditions, one can easily with a drill use the existing mount to mount case of feature as the rider sees fit. Mount works in so many ways! The luggage style saddle bag is super heavy duty, and can hold up to anything that mother nature can dish out. But if you dont want to get the bag muddy, the mount allows for plenty of mounting possibility's. I plan on buying another mount and saddle bag kit for the other side of my side car! Love this product. As far as I have seen Ural of New England so far have offered this product. I could be wrong but I have not seen it on other dealers inventory that I order from. So love the fact that Ural of New England is always either pitching the fist of an accessories kinds or as I have seen Ural of New England offer awesome accessory parts and or features exclusive to Ural of New England. I do not know if this is one of those products. Either way, I plan on buying a second one real soon from Ural of New England, and I am in Reno Nevada! I do wish shipping were less when ordering parts like this, especially when the part is over a couple hundred bucks. Other then the shipping costs, cant complain and I love this product, it is so versatile!
